The Horse Hero Youth Program is an Equine Therapy program for young people ages 14-25.
The program is comprised of three sessions worth $1200, now FREE for participants, sponsored by Thoroughbred Breeders Australia and AusHorse.
This is an incredible opportunity for young people living in regional Victoria.
Calling young people ages 14-25 from the Mt Alexander Shire, Hepburn Shire, Macedon Ranges, Mitchell Shire, Goldfields Shire, Loddon Shire and City of Greater Bendigo.
THE HORSE HERO YOUTH PROGRAM is a youth leadership and empowerment program. Participants will connect with horses, with themselves and with their peers. HERO stands for HOPE, EFFICACY, RESILIENCE and OPTIMISM.
Over three Sundays this December, on a stunning property near Maldon, Jessica Liston, a highly inspiring and experienced Equine Therapist, will lead participants in a range of interactive activities with horses to promote human physical and mental health. Horses mirror your energy, leadership, and emotion and Jessica’s unique approach to sharing these insights is engaging and relevant to teenagers and adults alike.
DATES/TIMES FOR THE PROGRAM ARE: SUNDAY 6 DECEMBER, 13 DECEMBER, 20 DECEMBER.
Each Sunday the program will be run: 1:30pm-4pm.
You will absolutely love this! You must be available at these times and be able to get to Maldon each Sunday to attend.
The reason why this program is being advertised and promoted through the Field Trip youth movement is that there is an expectation that young people attending the Horse Hero program will join the Field Trip program and meet weekly to continue to pursue their personal development in a leadership role or as a participant in Term 1, 2020. You can join the Field Trip weekly program for Term 1, 2020 here.
